> The Owls' Second Varsity 8, which has won two races, is looking to return to the medal stand at the Dad Vail Regatta. The 2V last won gold at the 2018 Vails.
Quotable: Head Coach Brian Perkins
> "One of the things that hurt so bad in 2020 was that the season was canceled after having created such a positive culture here at Temple Crew. In the face of the pandemic, this year's Temple Crew was able to come back and honor the lost opportunities of the Class of 2020 by welcoming in new teammates, working hard, and sacrificing so much to stay healthy. And all of this was done in the fall and winter, when the possibility of a 2021 Dad Vail remained tenuous at best!"
> "Pretty soon, weekly 100% negative covid tests became the norm and with continuity in our lineups (and a push from our newer brothers) we were able to put together something that we hope to be proud of.
The opportunity to race against the best at the Dad Vails is one we are grateful for and do not take for granted.
Everyone at Temple Crew is looking forward to this Saturday's racing!"
