Danielson Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple volleyball's Falanika Danielson was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon. This is the first weekly honor for the Owls' this season, and Danielson's third career weekly honor.

Danielson led the Owls' defense at the Temple Invitational, going for match highs in digs in all three Temple clashes over the weekend. She opened with 26 digs against Rider and followed that up with 22 against Delaware. Against #21 Stanford, she tallied 17 digs. For the weekend, she averaged 5.42 digs per set, which led all AAC players, while adding a .990 reception average.

Temple volleyball is back in action on Friday, hosting the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing Cherry & White Challenge.
