Recapping the Final Round
> McGrath, who entered play with four straight rounds in the 60s, played the front nine in two-under with birdies on holes five, six and eight. He then bogeyed four of the next nine holes before making birdie on 18 to finish his round with an even-par 71.

> Graham Chase and Dawson Anders rounded out the scorers for the Owls Monday. Chase had a team-high five birdies on the day, but balanced it with five bogeys to finish even-par. Anders made par on 15 holes, firing a birdie on the par-three 13th after bogeying holes one and nine to finish at one-over.
> Joey Morganti had his toughest round of the season, shooting six-over on his final five holes to finish the day with a seven-over 78. Overall, he tied for 30th at plus seven.

On Team
"The course played tough today. It got windy the last 10-11 holes. Overall, I think we played solid. We still have a lot of stuff to clean up out there, but I am really proud of them. I saw some mental mistakes. We need to work a little more on our short game. If we do the small things a little bit better, we can be a really good team."
"I think the most important thing about this team is how import each member is to the team and how everyone is chipping in. An example is Joey played great first day and really helped us. Graham struggled early the first day and what I thought (after today) was how Graham looks really ready to turn the corner. I saw lots of good stuff from him today."
On Conor McGrath
"Conor did not have it this week and when you finish second and you are not playing your best that is the sign of being a great player."
On Ethan Whitney
"I am really proud of the way he has played. He is really solid, has a lot of moxie out there and he is only going to get better and as he matures, he will be a hell of a player."
Next Up
> Temple will take the week off before returning the play on Oct. 3-4 at the Matthews Auto Collegiate at The Link at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin, N.Y.
