Grimshaw Earns AAC Weekly Honor Roll Nod

Grimshaw earned All-Tournament honors at the Cherry & White Challenge as the Owls swept LIU, an NCAA qualifier in the spring, and nearly pulled out an upset over Maryland. The right side hitter was fifth in the conference last week with 4.31 points per set, averaging 3.38 kills, 2.88 digs, and 0.63 aces and blocks. Against Maryland, Grimshaw tallied 14 kills with 14 digs for her second double-double of the season. She also received 44 serves without making an error on the night, adding three blocks. Grimshaw followed it up with a 13-kill, nine-dig performance against LIU, with four aces and a pair of blocks.Â
Temple is next in action this weekend, continuing non-conference action at Towson's Tiger Invitational. The Owls will play Norfolk State on Friday at 4:00 p.m. to open the tournament.
