Hannah Stallings Tabbed EAGL Rookie of the Week

PHILADELPHIAÂ - Temple freshman Hannah Stallings was named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Rookie of the Week on Wednesday after her strong performance during the Keystone Classic last Friday night, announced by the league.
Stallings picked up an all-around victory in the first meet of her collegiate career, defeating a pair of Penn State gymnasts with the score of 38.900 to 38.600 and 37.875, respectively.

Not only did the Raleigh, N.C. native earn the win in the all-around competition, she also tied teammate Brooke Donabedian for first place on the beam with a 9.8. Hannah rounded out the meet with scores of 9.725 on the vault and floor and 9.650 on the uneven bars.

After week one of action, Hannah is tied for sixth on the vault and beam in the EAGL event rankings.

Temple gymnastics is ranked No. 30 in the latest NQS rankings and will be in action on Saturday, Jan. 15, as they travel to Des Moines, Iowa, to take on #23 Iowa State at the Chows Winter Classic.
