Temple started the match off strong, securing the doubles point after victories in the first and third flight.
In singles play, the Owls secured a win from Marin Delmas but dropped the remaining five matches

All of our guys played them very close, but we unfortunately couldn't pull off the points we needed. We're really looking forward to our next opportunity at Penn this Wednesday."
