TAMPA, Fla. – Temple women's soccer (1-9-4, 0-6-0 AAC) dropped to South Florida (8-6-0, 5-1-0 AAC) on Thursday night at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Fla. A 31st minute goal from the Bulls earned the early advantage, followed by a 57th minute finish to end the night, 2-0.

How it Happened

The Bulls exerted offensive pressure immediately, but the Owls defense held strong, until the Bulls found their opening in the 31^st minute on a tight give and go opportunity in the box.
The Owls first half efforts were headlined by goalkeeper Kyla Burns who grabbed six saves to limit the Bulls chance at a further advantage.
The Bulls found the back of the net again as they entered the second half, sending a line drive to the bottom right corner in the 57^th minute.
Burns continued to show her dominance, picking up five more saves to finish the match with eleven total saves, just one save short of tying her career high.
