Roserie and Koza earn Soccer Six Weekly Honors

PHILADELPHIA – After a pair of impressive performances last week, Forward Chaim Roserie, and defender Sawyer Koza been honored by the Philadelphia Soccer Six. Roserie has claimed Soccer Six Player of the Week, while Koza earned Rookie of the Week. For Roserie, this is the first time he has received a weekly honor in his career at Temple. Koza has been a star in his freshman campaign on North Broad. This is the Council Rock, Pa. native's third Soccer Six Rookie of the Week award in the last five weeks. He was also named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll on September, 19th.  

Roserie dazzled this week with three assists on Temple four goals, his first three points of the season. He helped on both of the goals the Owls' scores in Temple's 2-0 win over Stony Brook and delivered a beautiful cross on the opening score against No. 22/9 Tulsa to tie the match up going into halftime. Koza scored his third goal of the season against Stony Brook and passed for his second assist versus Tulsa.

The Owls will be on the road Friday against UAB with the match airing on ESPN+. They return home for their final home match of season against top-25 Charlotte Tuesday on 7p.
