> Winthrop's Nick Mayfield shot a one-under 71 to win the individual title with a five-under 211.

Next Up
> The Owls travel back to North Carolina to compete in the Elon Invitational on Oct. 10-11.

Quotable: Head Coach Brian Quinn
> "Our last hole on Monday we played six over par. That is where the tournament slipped for us. If we played that hole even, we are right there.  We put up way too many big numbers as a team, Conor (McGrath) included.  We have to play a little smarter and work harder on short game.
> Saw a lot of good things – Andrew (Curran) bounced back and shot a good round. Conor played well.  Graham (Chase) had a solid round.  If we get our top three guys all playing well together, we will be a pretty good golf team."
