Aleah Nelson Named to AAC and Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – Following a fantastic week on the court, Temple women's basketball point guard Aleah Nelson has been named to both the American Athletic Conference and Philadelphia Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll.
Nelson scored 16 points to go with six assists and three rebounds against Saint Joseph's Wednesday and notched a season-high 23 on Sunday against Bucknell in addition to five assists and two boards. The guard is currently leading the AAC in points per game (16.3) and is second in both assists (5.83) and assists/TO ratio (+2.50). She averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per contest this week.
The Cherry & White hit the road for the final game of its longest road trip of the season as the Owls head to Old Dominion for the Anne Donovan Classic Wednesday. The 6:30 p.m. matchup will steam on ESPN+.
