Women's Basketball Comeback Bid Falls Short to USF

2.9.22 | Women's Basketball

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple women's basketball team (11-10, 6-4 AAC) suffered its second loss this season against the South Florida Bulls (17-6, 7-2 AAC) on Wednesday night as USF completed the season sweep. Both teams struggled offensively, as the Bulls shot 31.1% and the Owls shot 29% from the field. Having clawed back from an 11-point deficit at halftime, the Owls found themselves within three with just over two minutes to play. However, a scoring drought for the remainder of the game kept TU off the scoreboard to give the Bulls the win.
