Three Owls Earn All-Region Honors

PHILADELPHIA - Three Temple fencers have earned All-Region honors, as announced by the USFCA on Monday. Junior Naomi Ross (epee) was named to the First Team, while freshman Anna Novoseltseva (foil) and sophomore Elizabeth Novoseltseva (foil) were both named to the Second Team.
Ross finished third last weekend at the NCAA Mid-South/Atlantic Regionals, the highest finish of the day for the Owls. Anna Novoseltseva finished in seventh-place, with Elizabeth Novoseltseva finishing just behind her in eighth place. The trio were the only Owls to advance to the final round at Regionals.
Ross and Anna Novoseltseva will represent the Cherry and White at the NCAA Championships at Notre Dame from March 24-25.
