Golf Finishes 13th at Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate

AIKEN, S.C. – Temple Golf finished in 13th place in the 15-team field at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate Tuesday. The Owls improved two strokes from the second round to finish the day with a 15-over 295.
Recapping the Round
> Senior co-captain Dawson Anders started the round with bogeys on the first two holes, but he rebounded with three birdies to lead the Owls with a one-over 71. Anders finished the tournament tied for 25th with a seven-over 217.
> Junior co-captain Conor McGrath had a team-high four birdies, as he finished the round with a three-over 73. McGrath shot a five-over 215 for the tournament to tie for 20th overall.
> Junior Buddy Hansen improved two strokes from the second round to finish with a four-over 74. He tied for 64th overall.
> Freshman Ethan Whitney shot seven-over 77 to finish the tournament at 69th overall.
> Sophomore Graham Chase had three birdies in the round, but nine bogeys pushed him to a seven-over 77 on the day. Chase finished the tournament at 70th overall.
The Field
> South Carolina won the tournament title by ten strokes with an eight-under par 832. Virginia (842) placed second followed by VCU (852), host USC Aiken (856), and Virginia Tech (863).
> South Carolina's Ryan Hall shot 10-under 200 to win the tournament by five strokes over his teammate Jack Wall.
