Crew Set to Host Murphy Cup Regatta This Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's crew team is set to host the 39th Memorial Murphy Cup Regatta on Saturday, April 2nd. The Owls will be competing in the Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8, Varsity 4, Second Varsity 4, Third Varsity 4, Freshman 8, and Freshman 4 events.
FORMAT
> Racing takes place on Temple's home course on the Schuylkill River. The event will include heats in the morning, starting at 9:00 a.m. and finals in the afternoon, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
THE COMPETITION
>There are 13 men's teams competing in the race. The field includes Delaware, Drexel, Fairfield, Fordham, La Salle, Lafayette, Lehigh, NY Maritime, Rutgers, Temple, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and Washington College.
