Men’s Crew Ranked No. 19 in IRCA National Poll

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's crew Varsity 8 boat has been ranked #19 nationally in the first week of the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association Poll released on Apr. 6.

"We are thrilled to be racing again and honored to be included among the best teams in the nation", said head coach Brian Perkins.

This week's ranking comes after the Varsity 8 boat took silver at the Murphy Cup Regatta. The Owls recorded a time of 5:54.33 in the morning heat to outpace Lehigh, Washington College, and Fairfield. In the finals, the Owls earned the silver with a time of 5:25.03, four seconds behind Drexel.

The Owls will travel to San Diego, California to compete at the San Diego Match Racing on Saturday April 16^th.
