Men’s Basketball to play Rutgers in Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase

PHILADELPHIA – Temple will play Rutgers in the second annual Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase on November 18 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., it was announced today by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
The game will be part of a doubleheader with Iona taking on Vermont in the other contest.
"We are excited to compete against a very talented Rutgers team in the 2022 Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase," said Temple head coach Aaron McKie. "We always look to test our young men against high level competition and to do this at the Mohegan Sun Arena, which is not too far for our fans to travel, is a perfect fit for our program."
The Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase is one event in the Hall of Fame's series of collegiate events, which continues to grow in an effort to celebrate the game outside the museum walls. The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is proud to continue its relationship with LEARFIELD for sponsorship representation of its portfolio of collegiate events and Position Sports in an event operations and media relations capacity.
