Temple Signs NCAA Division II All-American Dallis Dillard

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University men's basketball head coach Adam Fisher announced the signing of IUP transfer guard Dallis Dillard on Friday.
Dillard, a 6-2 guard from Harlem, New York, was named to the NABC All-America First Team after averaging 20.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game for the NCAA Atlantic Region finalist Crimson Hawks during the 2025-26 season.
"We're thrilled to welcome Dallis Dillard to our Temple family," said Fisher. "Dallis had a standout season at IUP and proved himself to be one of the most complete players in Division II. His ability to score efficiently, find open teammates, rebound and defend makes him a tremendous addition to our program. We believe his game will translate well at this level, and he fits perfectly in our system at Temple."
Among NCAA Division II players, Dillard ranked 10th in total steals (80), 14th in field goals made (233) and 23rd in scoring (20.6 ppg). Within the PSAC, he led the league in scoring and steals per game (2.50). He also ranked second in total points (658), third in assists per game (4.7), field goals made (233) and free throw attempts (174), and fourth in total assists (150) and free throws made (127).

Dillard scored in double figures in all 32 games, recorded 16 20-point games and four 30-point games and posted four double-doubles last season. He also registered a 30-point, 10-rebound, 11-assist triple-double against Penn State Du Bois.
He faced eventual NCAA Division II national champion Gannon four times, averaging 17.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 46.6% from the floor.
Along with earning NABC All-America First Team honors, he was also named to the D2CCA All-America Second Team, NABC All-District First Team, D2CCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year, D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team, PSAC West Player of the Year and All-PSAC West First Team.
He was named to the Bevo Francis Award Top 25 Watch List, which is presented annually to the player who had the finest overall season in small college basketball.
Dillard enters his final season of eligibility with 1,145 career collegiate points, 469 rebounds, 261 assists and 169 steals.
Dillard joins fellow transfer Dez White (Jefferson City, Missouri/Oregon State), returners Gavin Griffiths, Cam Wallace and Olin Chamberlain Jr. and incoming freshman Derrick Morton-Rivera on the 2026-27 roster.
