Women’s Soccer Falls to No. 9 Rutgers
9.1.22 | Women's Soccer
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Temple women's soccer (0-2-2) fell to No. 9 Rutgers (5-0-0) on Thursday evening in the Owls third road match of the year. The Cherry and White defense worked tirelessly, but the dynamic Scarlet Knight offense prevailed to remain undefeated on the season.
How it Happened
From the Coach
"There is a reason Rutgers was in the College Cup last year," head coach Nick Bochette said. "Their pace of play, speed, pure athleticism and desire was all right there on display tonight. So, although this certainly isn't the result that we wanted, we can learn from this. The season is still young and we have time to learn and grow before we reach conference play."
