On the Win
> "I know how this golf course plays and it is an extremely difficult golf course. I felt pretty confident with our kids. We gave a lot away yesterday. I just think the kids have so much experience on this course and that really helped us. We definitely had home course advantage. Rhode Island played awesome. They are a great team. I am really excited because we have a mix of younger and older players, and it is good for them to feel that kind of pressure down the stretch and it is a very gratifying win for the kids." – Temple head coach Brian Quinn.
On Ethan Whitney
> "I am so excited for Ethan. He has tremendous upside for us and he is going to be a great player for Temple University and beyond. You cannot win two until you win one and I think he is going to win a lot of golf tournaments. He has a lot of passion for the game. He has a lot of courage out there playing, he is not afraid to fail. So I am very excited for him and for the program because every time he is teeing up for us is going to help us as well.
Great kid, really lucky to have him and we are just very blessed because we have so many great kids in our program with Ethan, Graham and Conor who are tremendous leaders for us.So am really excited to see what we can do moving forward," said Quinn.
On Temple B team
> "They played really good. Andres played pretty good today. Andrew Curran played pretty good today and that just strengthens the program. That shows you how much deeper we are getting and to compete in the conference we compete in, as difficult as the conference is, we need depth and we are starting to get it," said Quinn.
Temple's B team also played well, placing sixth in the 15-team field.
