WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The Temple field hockey team dropped its third-straight game Sunday afternoon, falling 1-0 at Monmouth in overtime. The Owls now sit at 6-5 (1-2 BIG EAST) on the season.

Recapping the Game
> Temple earned a pair of corners in the first frame, putting three of five shots on target, but couldn't find the back of the cage.
> The Owls continued their offensive momentum with four shots and one corner, but two more saves from the Monmouth keeper kept Temple from scoring and both teams would head into halftime scoreless.
> The Hawks earned their first corners of the game coming out of the half, with the Temple defense successfully clearing five shots on three corners.
> The Cherry and White fired nine shots in the fourth quarter, drawing six corners, but Jessie Eiselin posted seven saves to keep Temple off the scoreboard and force the Ows' first overtime situation of the season.
> Monmouth found the golden goal at the 66-minute mark to put away the game.

Statistically Speaking
> Temple outshot the Hawks 22-16, a season-high for the team. TU put 15 shots on target, a season-high.
