PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Temple field hockey team (6-6, 1-3 BIG EAST) fell 2-0 at Providence Friday afternoon, the team's fourth-straight loss.

Recapping the Game
> Providence got on the board early, scoring at the two-minute mark.
> The Friars double their lead going into halftime, converting a penalty corner off a rebounded shot.
> Temple spent the third quarter on the defensive end of the ball, with Providence firing five shots and putting four on target.
> TU fired four shots on four corners in the final frame, but couldn't find the back of the net.

Statistically Speaking
> The Owls outshot Providence 10-9, but the Friars had the shots on goal edge 7-4.
