Field Hockey to Face Two Big 5 Rivals

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team will look to continue its two-game winning streak with a pair of Big 5 rivals this weekend, hosting BIG EAST opponent Villanova on Oct. 20 before heading across town to face No. 14 Saint Joseph's on Oct. 22.
Scouting Temple
> The Owls snapped a four-game slump on Friday, topping Georgetown 2-1 at Towson to improve to 6-7 (2-3 BIG EAST) before shutting out Delaware 2-0 on Sunday.
> Temple is tied for fourth place in the BIG EAST standings with Providence, Quinnipiac, and UConn.
> The Cherry and White has struggled offensively, scoring just 14 goals and being shutout by six opponents to average 1.0 goal per game.
