PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team (9-6, 3-3 BIG EAST) earned its second-straight shutout Friday afternoon, topping Villanova (8-7, 3-3 BIG EAST) 4-0.

> The Owls wasted no time getting on the board, with Devin Kinzel scoring her first of the season on a penalty corner attempt.
> Temple went 2-0 to close the first quarter as Alizé Maes scored with just six seconds left in the frame.
> Kinzel scored her second of the day midway through the second quarter to give the Owls a 3-0 lead at the half.
