Women’s Basketball to Broadcast 2023-24 Season on the Varsity Network App

PHILADELPHIA – For the second straight season, every Temple women's basketball game will be broadcast on live radio. The games, starting with the season opener against Delaware (Nov. 6, 4 pm) will stream on the Varsity Network App and can also be accessed via Owlsports.com. 97.5 The Fanatic's Ray Dunne will host the broadcast once again.
"I am thrilled to announce that we will continue to have our games broadcasted on the Varsity App," said Head Coach Diane Richardson. "I would like to thank our partners who have made this possible. Ray did a tremendous job helping us bring the story of our program last year to our fans, and we are very excited to have him with us once again."
Dunne, a 2022 Temple graduate, will also host a 20 minute pregame and a half hour postgame show to bookend each broadcast.
"Thank you to Learfield and Temple Sports Properties for having me back with the Temple women's basketball program once again," Dunne said. "Coach Rich and her team welcomed me to the squad with open arms last season and I cannot wait for another exciting season of Temple women's basketball."
The pregame show will feature four segments. Head coach Diane Richardson will be featured on one segment to discuss the upcoming game and give insight into the program. Another segment will feature an interview with an assistant coach. All broadcasts will start approximately a half hour before tip-off.
