Steele Adds Three to Wednesday's National Signing Day

PHILADELPHIA – On Wednesday, Temple Gymnastics Coach Hilary Steele announced the signing of Robyn Dunne, Breanna Varano, and Harmony Haro to the class of 2024.
"We are so excited to welcome our newest Owls. Each of these girls bring unique skill sets and personalities to our program. We expect them all the make a huge contribution on multiple events. Be on the lookout for our 2024 freshman class. Welcome to the TUG family!"
From Louisville, Colo., Dunne has competed at a level 10 since 2022, earning two trips to nationals. With 5280 Gymnastics, Dunne placed first on beam at the Colorado State Championships and then moving on to regionals in 2022. As a junior as season ago, Dunne had four straight second-place all-around finishes and three first place finishes on the beam, including a first-place finish at the state championships. Dunne qualified for nationals in 2023, placing 10th on the beam. Outside of gymnastics has earned a GPA academic award in grades 9-12 and has participated in the National Charity League (NCL) since the seventh grade.
Since 2018, Varano has competed as a level 10 gymnast with Parkettes Gymnastics in Allentown, Pa. where she's has been a two-time national qualifier. Varano became 2023 National Medalist, finishing sixth on the vault at the Development Program Nationals in Oklahoma City in May. As an L10, the Parkland High School senior has a career-high of 9.875 on vault. Out of the gym, Varano has earned honor roll status throughout high school and will join Temple looking to major in sports management.
Haro a member of Cincinnati Gymnastics is from Fairfield, Ohio where she has been a level 10 gymnast since 2022 with Cincinnati Gymnastics. As a level 10, Haro has a personal best on the vault of 9.850, a mark she earned at the UGA Invitational last January. The Fairfield native is a National Honors Society member and a National Merit Semifinalist and intends to major in bioengineering with Temple.
