Ines Piper Named to AAC and Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – Women's basketball forward Ines Piper has been named to both the American Athletic Conference and Big 5 Weekly Honor Rolls. It is the first time Piper has been honored by the AAC in her career and the second time she has earned Big 5 Honor Roll this season.
Piper put up a Division I career-high 16 points to pair with 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season in Temple's 61-47 win over Penn on Sunday afternoon. The senior shot 42.8% from the field and went 4-4 from the free throw line. She is one of only five players in the American with multiple double-doubles this season.
The Owls will be back in action this Thursday at Liacouras Center at 7p as the Cherry & White host the Delaware Blue Hens (ESPN+/Varsity Network App). Tickets are available at Owlstix.com.
