Caranda Perea Earns Big 5 Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – Temple sophomore forward Caranda Perea has been named to the Philadelphia Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll, this is the first time she has been honored in her career.
Perea averaged 13.5 ppg, and 8.5 rpg, in Temple's two games this week. She led the Owls with a career-high 17 points in Wednesday's win over Wichita State to go with four rebounds while shooting a staggering 78% from the field including 3-4 from deep. The forward followed up this performance by recording her first career double-double at Houston with 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. Her 13 boards are the most any Temple player has recorded in a single game this season.
The Owls hit the floor again this Wednesday as Temple travels south to face East Carolina (6 p.m./ESPN+/Varsity Network App).
