Men’s Tennis Blanks Marist 7-0 To Keep Streak Alive

Cherry Hill, N.J. – Temple men's tennis (11-2) defeated the Marist Red Foxes (0-8) by a final score of 7-0 on Friday morning, March 10 to win their eleventh-straight victory and stay undefeated at home.

NOTES:

The Owls started strong from the beginning of the match winning the doubles point for the first time since facing Drexel on March 1.
Leo Raquin and Thibault Frumholz represented Temple from the first position for only the second time this spring. The duo has started together eight times from the second and third positions, but only had one previous start from the first.
Marin Delmas and Gregoire Barety played from the second position for the first time this season. As a pair, they now have a 7-4 record throughout the spring season.
Marist's Alex Thompson battled against Temple's Hussein El Tawil from the sixth position taking the match to three sets. El Tawil won in the third set 10-6 to secure his seventh singles victory of the spring.
