Quotable
> "Today was a long day of intense competition. I'm so proud of all of our regional qualifiers and the entire team for their hard work and dedication to their fencing and their teammates. As it always is at this level, it was a tale of key touches that made or broke each fencer today. Anna finishing sixth in a field of fencers that included world champions and senior world team members was an impressive feat and she is in a good position for possible NCAA Championship selection. Eva is an at-large candidate for NCAA Championship selection and we are waiting to see if she will advance. Elizabeth and Emma also made it to the finals and fenced well throughout the day. When we gathered after the day was over, I could see in the team's faces that they were proud but not satisfied. That is what we will build on in the future." – head coach Jennie Salmon
