Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Weekend With 7-0 Win For 16 Straight

FAIRFAX, VA – Temple men's tennis (16-2) defeated the George Mason Patriots (4-6) by a final score of 7-0 on Sunday afternoon, March 26. The victory marks the sixteenth-straight for the tennis program.

NOTES:

Temple won the doubles point behind Thibault Frumholz and Leo Raquin in the first position where they stayed a perfect 7-0 from the top spot this spring.
Marin Delmas and Gregoire Barety secured their tenth doubles victory from the second position winning 6-4 over the Patriot duo.
Leo Raquin secured the first singles point for the Owls from the second position where he now has a 13-1 record. Marin Delmas and Thibault Frumholz followed from the first and fourth positions to give Temple the 4-0 advantage.
Hussein El Tawil and Alberto Blumenschein were called upon to anchor the starting lineup from the fifth and sixth positions. El Tawil picked up his twelfth victory of the spring meanwhile Blumenschein earned his fourth.
