Donabedian and Schugman Finish 2023 Season at NCAA Regionals

PITTSBURGH – Temple gymnastics officially closed its book to the 2023 season after juniors Brooke Donabedian and Renee Schugman closed their own individual seasons out at the 2023 NCAA Gymnastics Pitt Regional, tying for 18th place on the floor exercise in session two.
Donabedian, making her second straight NCAA regional floor appearance, got the first shot on the floor for Temple during rotation two. The Maple Valley, Wash. native followed six Florida Gators where she scored a 9.825. The junior's score marked the 10th time this season she would go on to score 9.8 or better and the 28th time of her three-year career.
In her first-ever NCAA Regional appearance, the Smithtown, N.Y. native, Schugman, unveiled her routine during rotation three, matching her teammates' score (9.825). The junior recorded her 11th score of 9.8 or better this season and the 31st of her career.
