AIKEN, S.C. – Temple Golf finished tied for ninth place in the 15-team field at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate Tuesday. The Owls finished 31-over 871, matching Wofford.

Recapping the Day
> Sophomore Ethan Whitney had a great tournament, finishing with rounds of 68, 69, and 70, good for a three-under 207, and fifth place in the individual rankings. He led the Owls with 14 birdies, while adding an eagle on hole 14 of his final round, and notched his third collegiate top five finish. Whitney's score of 207 is tied for fifth all-time on the Owls' Low 54 list with Brandon Matthews at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate in 2013.
> Sophomore Jake Naese shot an 11-over 221, marking his best collegiate 54-hole score. Naese finished tied for 37th.
> Junior Graham Chase shot a 12-over 222, He joined Whitney, recording an eagle on hole 10 in the first round. Chase finished tied for 45th.
> Senior Conor McGrath shot a 14-over 224, while sophomore Joey Morganti shot a 21-over 231. McGrath finished tied for 50th, while Morganti finished tied for 67th.

The Field
> South Carolina took home the team title, finishing at two-under 838. Furman claimed second at eight-over 848. Wisconsin rounds out the top three at nine-over 849.
> Mercer's Tobias Jonsson finished six-under 204, claiming the top spot. Davidson's Brian Garrett, South Carolina's Nathan Franks, and Wisconsin's Maxime Legros finished four-under 206 in a three-way tie for second place.
