PHILADELPHIA – Temple lacrosse (5-2, 0-0 AAC) is set to welcome UMBC to Howarth Field on Saturday, Mar. 11. First draw is set for 12 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Series History vs. UMBC
The matchup between Temple and UMBC marks the tenth time the teams' have met in program history, with an all-time record of 8-1. The Owls are on a six-game winning streak against the Retrievers, finding their last win in 2022, where they defeated UMBC on the road, 14-11.

- Temple advanced to 5-2 (0-0 AAC) on the season after posting a 14-10 road win over Marist on Wednesday, Mar. 8.
- With six draw controls against the Red Foxes, Belle Mastropietro broke the all-time draw control record at Temple (236), previously set by Kara Nakrasius in 2021. She now advances to 239 in her career, and 47 on the season.
- Mastropietro has not only found success on the draw circle, but she continues to lead the team in both points (28) and goals (22), sitting at fourth on the conference leaderboard in goals per game (3.14).
- Mackenzie Roth trails closely behind, posting 21 points on 11 goals and 10 assists, while Amelia Wright, Maeve Tobin, Julie Schickling and Camryn Zavacky have rounded out the offensive unit with double-digit points in 2023, posting 14, 11, 11, and 10 respectively.
- Katie Shallow and Maddie Barber have been outstanding on the defensive end of the field, each recording 22 groundballs on the season to lead the team. Their 22 groundballs ties for third in the conference in groundballs per game (3.14).

- Junior Kennedy Evans has been a defensive force, leading the team in caused turnovers, with 15, while sitting second on the conference leaderboard with 3.00 per game.
- The Retrievers have seen multiple players with substantial offensive production, with five players earning double-digits points behind Bockstie. Lauren Cremen sits at second on the point leaderboard with 18, followed by Megan Halzuk (15), Dymin Gerow (12) and Kolby Weedon (10).
- Isabella Fontana has served as the primary goalie, recording 60 saves for a .504 save percentage, the highest in the America East. In addition, she has recorded a team-leading 16 groundballs.
