Golf Finishes 11th at Rutherford Intercollegiate

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Temple Men's Golf finished 11th at the Rutherford Intercollegiate. The 12-team event was held at the Penn State Blue Course, which is a par-71, 7,171-yard course. The tournament consisted of 54 holes over a two-day period.

Recapping the Round
> Senior Conor McGrath shot a four-over 217 for the tournament, leaving him in a tie for 18th place. McGrath led the Owls with seven birdies.
> Junior Graham Chase shot a five-over 218, one shot behind McGrath. Chase finished tied for 25th place.
> Sophomore Ethan Whitney posted a seven-over 220 for the weekend. Whitney ended in a tie for 34th place.
> Sophomores Joey Morganti and Jake Naese finished in a tie for 72nd and 75th respectively. Morganti posted a 26-over 239, while Naese posted a 28-over 241. Morganti led the field with two eagles.
> Sophomore Gregory Hanna, competing as an individual, shot a 27-over 240, and finished in 74th place.

The Field
> Penn State ended in the top spot at -3. Valparaiso took second at -2, and Georgetown finished third at +1.
> Bryson Richards of Richmond defeated Valparaiso's Anthony Delisanti in a playoff to take home the individual honors.
