Four Owls Earn All-Region Honors

PHILADELPHIA - Four fencers have earned All-Region honors, as announced by the USFCA on Monday. Anna Novoseltseva (foil) was named All-Region Second Team while Elizabeth Novoseltseva (foil), Emma Pincus (sabre), and Eva Ventura (sabre) were named All-Region Honorable Mention in their respective weapons.
Anna Novoseltseva finished in sixth place at the NCAAÂ Mid-South/Atlantic Regionals, while Elizabeth Novoseltseva finished in 12th place. Ventura earned a 10th place finish and Pincus earned an 11th place finish. The four were the only Owls to advance to the final round at Regionals.
Anna Novoseltseva was selected to compete at the NCAA Championships last month, with the sophomore finishing in 22nd place.
