Golf Participates in Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Temple Men's Golf team will participate in the Princeton Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The 14-team event is being held at the Springdale Golf Club on a par-71, 6,444-yard course. The tournament consists of 54 holes over a two-day period.
Previewing the Owls
> Sophomore Ethan Whitney continued finished his impressive spring at the Greenville Intercollegiate, posting rounds of 73, 73, and 75 for a combined five-over 221. Whitney posted the Owls' only eagle, and finished in a tie for 12th.
> Junior Graham Chase shot a 77, 72, and 73 leaving him with a six-over 222 in Greenville, and in a tie for 14th.
> At Greenville, senior Conor McGrath finished with rounds of 78, 76, and 70 for a combined eight-over 224. McGrath led the Owls with nine birdies and finished tied for 19th.
> Junior Andrew Curran made his spring debut last time out posting rounds of 77, 84, and 79 for a final score of 24-over 240
> Redshirt sophomore Andres Aranguren re-enters the lineup for the Owls. He has posted a stroke average of 78.25 in eight rounds this spring.

> The host, Princeton Tigers, will have an "A" and "B" team at the event. The rest of the field includes Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Harvard, Howard, Penn, Rider, Saint Joe's, Seton Hall, and Yale.
