Men’s Tennis Defeats NJIT 7-0 to Claim 17th Win of the Spring

PHILADELPHIA – Temple men's tennis (17-3) defeated the NJIT Highlanders (13-5) on Friday morning, April 7 by a final score of 7-0. The match was held at the TU Pavilion on Temple's campus.

NOTES:
- The first and third doubles teams for Temple consisting of Leo Raquin and Thibault Frumholz, in addition to Louis Gorregues and Hussein El Tawil, claimed the doubles point and took an early lead against NJIT.
- It was a clean sweep through singles play against an NJIT team coming to Temple with 13 wins on the spring season.
- Pablo Perez Ramos led NJIT with a 15-1 record in singles play coming into this match with the Owls. Temple's Marin Delmas defeated Ramos in two sets, handing the redshirt freshman just his second loss of the spring.
- The Highlanders will stay in Philadelphia and play the St. Joseph Hawks tomorrow, Saturday, April 8 for the second half of the back-to-back.
