9.14.23 | Women's Basketball
PHILADELPHIA – Alexandra "Ali" Wilkinson has signed an aid agreement with Temple women's basketball, announced head coach Diane Richardson. The 6-2 forward will be the sixth newcomer to join the Owls for the 2023-24 campaign joining Drew Alexander, Jaleesa Molina, Tristen Taylor, Sheyenne Swain-Price, and Demi Washington. She will have two years of eligibly remaining after spending the last three seasons at the JUCO level.
"We are excited about bringing Ali on board to add to our post presence," Richardson said. "As a member of the JUCO National Championship team, Ali is experienced, brings a high level of basketball knowledge, and a winning mentality."
Hailing from nearby Woodbury, New Jersey, Wilkinson brings a pedigree of success to Temple. The forward played junior college ball at CCBC Essex in the Baltimore area where she helped lead the Knights to a NJCAA DII National Championship. Wilkinson appeared in 22 games, averaging 3.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest while hitting 63.8% from the field during the 2022-23 season. Prior to her time at CCBC Essex, the forward spent two years at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She redshirted her first season and saw limited action in her second.
Temple will open the 2023-24 season hosting Delaware State at Liacouras Center on Monday, November 6. Season tickets are available now by calling the Temple ticket office at (215) 204-8499 or clicking here.
