Field Hockey Tops Lehigh in Fourth-Straight Win

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Temple field hockey team earned its fourth-straight win Sunday afternoon, topping Lehigh 2-1 on the road.Â
Recapping the Game
> The Temple defense was tested early, stopping the Mountain Hawks from converting a pair of penalty corners in the third three minutes of play.Â
> Caitlyn Amsden fired her second shot on goal of the the day in the second, but the Lehigh keeper saved both attempts.
> The Owls got on the board at the 35-minute mark, with Julia Bunch scoring off a pass from Peyton Rieger.Â
> Lehigh quickly countered, evening the score just two-minutes later.
> Myrthe Schuilenburg found the go-ahead goal before closing out the third quarter, converting a penalty corner to seal the victory.
