Men’s Crew Announces 2023 Fall Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple Men's Crew released its 2023 fall racing schedule on Sept. 21. The Owls will open their season on Oct. 15 on the Schuylkill River at the Navy Day Regatta.
This season will be Brendan Cunningham's first season as the Owls head coach. Cunningham's entire coaching staff is filled with former Owls who rowed at Temple, hoping to continue Temple Crew's success.
Temple travels to Boston on Oct. 22 for the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta, where the Owls will have two boats racing. Prior to the Sunday regatta, Temple Crew will welcome Temple Alumni racing on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Head of the Charles.
Temple will return to Philadelphia on Oct. 28 at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta to wrap up their fall competition schedule.
"We are looking forward to building momentum through the fall and into our spring racing season," Cunningham said. "We have two races on our home course with the Head of the Schuylkill being our final race of the fall. We'll be racing two eights at the Head of the Charles Regatta. We are looking forward to the parents, alumni and Temple Crew fans coming out to the races this fall to support our student-athletes. Go Owls!"
