Field Hockey to Continue League Play Against No. 9 Liberty

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team will look to bounce back after dropping a conference matchup at Old Dominion last weekend, continuing league play by hosting No. 9 Liberty Friday afternoon before heading to New Jersey to face Monmouth on Sunday.

Scouting Temple
> The Owls snapped a four-game winning streak last weekend with a 1-0 loss at Old Dominion. Temple now sits at 6-3 (1-1 BIG EAST) on the season.
> The Cherry and White will face its second top-10 opponent of the season in No. 9 Liberty on Friday. Temple hosted No. 6 Virginia during the second weekend of the 2023 season, falling 6-0. The last time the Owls defeated a top-10 team was in 2014, when Temple topped No. 10 UMass at the 2014 Conference Cup at the Nook.
