Quotable
> "Regardless of the score line, we did a lot of things well. We outshot them and were even in corner attempts, so I want them to have the confidence to know that we can compete against any top-10 team. Liberty is a fantastic opponent and is very clinical in the circle, but if we played the full 60 minutes like we did in the second half I think it would have been a different game. You can't take a minute off, especially against a team this good, so we need to be a little more detail oriented and put a full 60 together. I'm super proud of the effort and what the team did, regardless of the final score." – head coach Michelle Vittese
Next Up
> The Owls will get a non-conference tuneup at Monmouth on Oct. 1 to open a three-game road stretch.
