AAC Releases Conference Schedule for Women's Basketball

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced its schedule for women's basketball. Each team will play nine games apiece at home and on the road, leading to the conference tournament at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, March 8-12.
Temple starts AAC play on the road at UAB on December 29. The first home game is a New Year's Day contest against East Carolina. TU then makes a trip to Florida to take on USF on January 4 and Florida Atlantic on January 8. Home games on back-to-back Saturdays follow as the Owls square off against Tulsa and Charlotte on January 11 and 18, respectively.
Three of the next four games are on the road for Temple, traveling to East Carolina (January 22), North Texas (January 29) and UTSA (February 1). Those contests are sandwiched around a date at the Liacouras Center against Tulane on January 25.
Some home cooking follows the road swing with a trio of contests in Philadelphia, starting with Memphis on February 5. South Florida is next on February 8 with UAB rounding out the stretch on February 11. From there, the Cherry and White alternates home and road contests for the remainder of the regular season. Temple plays at Tulane on February 15. At Memphis on February 25 and at Charlotte on March 4. The Owl are at the Liacouras Center on February 19 versus Wichita State and against Rice on February 28.
Temple finished last season 20-12 and won a share of the AAC regular season title. It was the most wins for the Owls in a season since 2016-17.
