PHILADELPHIA – Winners of three in a row, the Temple University field hockey team is back in action with a pair of games this weekend. The Owls return to conference play, traveling to No. 18 Liberty before hosting Wagner on Sunday.

Scouting Temple
- The Cherry and White was well represented in the BIG EAST Conference weekly awards as Isabella Ospitale was named the Defensive Player of the Week and Peyton Rieger was selected to the honor roll.
- Temple is coming off a pair of wins against ranked opponents, defeating No. 18 Old Dominion last Friday and No. 20 Monmouth on Sunday.
- Ospitale leads the BIG EAST in goals against average at 1.38 and has a 0.95 GAA in her last four games.
- Devin Kinzel leads the Owls with six goals, already surpassing her career-high. She ranks sixth in the conference in that category.
- TU enters the weekend as one of four teams in the BIG EAST with a 1-1 record in conference.
Scouting No 18 Liberty
- The Flames are 5-4 overall and 1-1 in the BIG EAST. After picking up their first conference win of the season on Friday against Providence, Liberty fell to No. 17 UAlbany on Sunday in a non-conference contest.
- Leading the offense is Martu Cain, who was named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll this past week. She has five goals and an assist for 11 points. Tuti Dell Anna is close behind with four goals and an assist. Josefina Tomasi also has four goals.
- Michaela Skinner has played every minute in goal this season and has a 2.05 GAA with two shutouts to her credit.
- Nikki Parsley-Blocker is in her eighth season as the head coach of the Flames with a record of 98-46.

Friday is the 15th all-time meeting between Temple and Liberty.
Scouting Wagner
- The Seahawks are 6-3 overall and 2-0 in the Northeast Conference. Most recently, they downed LIU Brooklyn in NEC action on Friday and topped Columbia on Sunday.
- Emma Lofstedt and Saar van Dalen swept the NEC weekly awards for their work during the weekend.
- Floortje Leunisse and Charlotte Muller top the offense with 13 points each. Leunisse has six goals and an assist while Muller have five tallies and three helpers.
- van Dalen has a 1.13 goals against average and has made 35 saves.
- Aubrey Mytych is in her first season as the head coach with Wagner.
