ASSISTANT COACH TASIA FORD ON THE OWLS SUCCESS
"The Coach Nikki Franke Classic is our favorite event of the year. It is the first time the team is truly all together in the same space and they can really feed off of one another and support. It is also even more special now that the tournament is named after our founder Coach Franke.

The returners really came together and taught our first years our competition traditions and cheers. The team really started to feel whole and our energy was felt in the room and even more during close bouts.

A big shoutout to our finalists Constanca Dimas and Grace smith. They lead by example on the strip. Their moments of perseverance and "Temple Toughness" was great for our young team to see.

This was a great start to see what we need to work on leading into our regular season completion. Up next is the elite meet at UPenn, we will be ready to take on our competition head on."

UP NEXT
The Owls fencers will be back in action on Nov. 17 as they travel across the city to Penn for the Elite Invitational.
