LAST WEEK
Temple defeated Florida Atlantic at Lincoln Financial Field, 18-15. Kicker Maddux Trujillo made the game-winning FG in overtime, a 39-yarder that was the senior's fourth conversion of the day. Included in these were a 50 and 54-yard try, which now gives Trujillo five 50+ yard FGs this season.
Ā
WR Dante Wright, returning from injury, made an immediate impact on a career day. Wright caught 14 passes, which not only set a career high, but also placed him second in Temple history for most receptions in a single game. Wright totaled 147 receiving yards on his 14 catches, which was only three yards shy of a career high in that statistic as well.
Ā
All three sides of the ball made an impact in the win, maybe none bigger than the defensive display in overtime. With Florida Atlantic on the Temple 12-yard line, back-to-back sacks from LB Tyquan King and Diwun Black forced FAU into a FG attempt, which missed wide left. From there the offense and Maddux Trujillo did the rest, giving the Cherry and White a home victory.

Ā
For Temple, WR John Adams had a career day. Adams caught 10 passes for 127 yards, and added a touchdown. QB E.J. Warner showed out as well, amassing 472 yards and finding four different receivers in the endzone, for a total of five touchdown passes.
