After a 65-51 loss to Georgetown on Tuesday night, the Owls are back in the Liacouras Center to take on the Drexel Dragons.

•The Owls are back home at the Liacouras Center in a Big 5 matchup against cross-town rival Drexel.
•On Tuesday night, the Owls fell on the road to Georgetown 65-51, suffering the first road loss this season.
•Anissa Rivera and Savannah Curry led the Owls in scoring on Tuesday night.
•Curry scored a season-high 12 points while scoring her first collegiate basket. She went 5-8 from the field while grabbing five rebounds. Â
• Rivera picked up her second double-double after dropping 16 points and 12 rebounds. She rejected two shots and 5-6 from the free-throw line.
• Adena Webster scored her first basket in the third quarter against Georgetown.
• The Owls shot a season-low 6% behind the 3-point line, going 1-16 against the Hoyas.
• The Owls won the boards after grabbing 43 rebounds to Georgetown's 36.
• The Owls will continue the homestand at the Liacouras Center on Tuesday, November 26, with a matchup against Princeton.
Scouting The Dragons
•The Drexel Dragons are 2-1 this season following a 57-47 loss on Wednesday night to UC Irvine at home.
 •Amaris Baker is the leading scorer for Drexel, averaging 21 points, nine rebounds, and four assist a game.
•Amarais Baker was the leading scorer against UC Irvine dropping a stat line of 20 points, two rebounds, and one steal.
•Against UC Irvine, Drexel went 2-21 from the 3-point line.
•Drexel is shooting 40% from the field and 31% from the 3-point line on the season.
•In the 2023-24 season, the Drexel Dragons won the CAA tournament, capturing the third CAA title in program history.
•The Dragons lost 82-42 to Texas in the first round of the NCAA tournament in Austin.

• Graduate transfer Anissa Rivera put up another double-double against Georgetown in her first start for the Owls.
• Rivera against Georgetown had 16 points, 12 rebounds, and two steals for the Owls. She went 5-13 from the field and 5-6 from the free-throw line.
• Rivera is averaging a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds a game for the Owls.
Welcome to College
•Freshman Savannah Curry and Adena Webster made an impact Tuesday evening. Curry scored her first collegiate points (11/19/24) against Georgetown and finished the game with 12 points, shooting 5-8 from the field, five rebounds, and one steal. Â
• Curry was a state champion locally at Westtown School and scored more
than 1,000 points in her high school career.
•Adena Webster scored her first collegiate points (11/19/24) against Georgetown after drawing the contact and being sent to the line, making one of two free throws. Â
• Webster averaged 34.4 points per game at Archbishop Carroll in Miami as a
junior and was an All-Dade County honoree after starring at the junior level in her native
Bahamas.
•They are two of the seven newcomers Temple welcomed to the 2024-25 season.
