Field Hockey Completes Undefeated Home Season with Win on Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple field hockey team completed an undefeated regular season at home with a 2-0 win against Lehigh on Senior Day on Sunday afternoon.
Prior to the game, Temple recognized seniors Addy Bielski, Julia Bunch, Ashley Cogger, Devin Kinzel, Alizé Maes, Tess Muller and Myrthe Schuilenburg for their contribution to the program. All seven seniors started the game for the Owls.

- It is the first undefeated season at home for field hockey since 1981 since the Owls went 11-0-1 at home.
- The nine wins at for Temple are the most since the 2022 season.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Kinzel and Maes each found the back of the cage for Temple.
- Mathéa Lassalle, Muller and Kinzel all recorded an assist.
- Cogger made her first career start and earned the shutout win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- TU got on the board in the waning seconds of the first half. Off a corner, Lassalle struck a shot towards cage that was redirected past the keeper by Kinzel.
- The Owls fended off a handful of chances from Lehigh in the third turning aside three penalty corners without allowing a clean shot on goal.
- Temple sealed the victory in the fourth on an APC with Muller inserting the ball to Kinzel who trapped it for Maes who rocketed it past the goalie.
