PHILADELPHIA - Tiarra East's performance against Villanova in the Big 5 Championship earned her USWBA Player of the Week honors, the association announced Tuesday.
Against Villanova, East shot 10-of-18 from the field, finishing with 26 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Her standout performance played a key role in Temple's 76-62 win over Villanova, securing the Owls' first-ever Big 5 Championship.
