Tiarra East Named to AAC Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA — Temple Women's Basketball junior guard Tiarra East has been named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll, the conference announced on Monday.

 

East was a central figure in Temple's three victories this past week. She totaled two double-doubles, as well as an 18-point, six-rebound performance against UTSA. Over the three game span, she averaged 14 points and nine rebounds per game, as Temple moved into sole possession of first place in the AAC Women's Basketball standings.

 

The recognition is the first time this season that East has been named to the AAC weekly honors. She earned a spot on the AAC honor roll three times last season.
